Stylebook

From "I hate this system" to "can we show this to everyone?" - a full rebuild.

Stylebook lets independent salons run their whole business from one place - bookings, inventory, payouts. The product worked, but the team’s own staff dreaded opening it.

What we did

  • Ran a week of contextual interviews and turned the complaints into a ranked backlog.
  • Designed a new information architecture around the salon’s day, not the database’s tables.
  • Shipped a design system so the in-house team could keep moving without us.

By the end, the people who said “I hate this system” were the ones asking if they could show it off to other salons.

Open to contract work, full-time roles, and interesting conversations about hard design problems.

I'm most energized by projects where I can dig into complex problems and ship things that improve someone's day.
